Madder Blend – Phitofilos

Description

Phitofilos ;Madder Blend is a mix of dyeing herbs made from lawsonia inermis, robbia tinctoria, rhubarb rapontico and cassia obovata. Madder root contains numerous pigments. Its use as a hair dyeing herb is not widespread, yet this herb produces extraordinary effects. It is used in place of red henna (lawsonia inermis) because it produces the same effect on the hair, but without permanently fixing the color to the hair. With Phitofilos Madder Blend you can achieve beautiful effects on light brown and blond hair, even with faded highlights. This hair is dyed an apricot color, but the presence of rhubarb and ‘red henna in the mixture veers the color toward cognac tones.

The Phitofilos Madder Blend makes it possible to obtain:

• Cognac shade on blond and light brown hair, even with white hair (30-60 minute application)
• coppery highlights on medium and dark brown hair (40- to 90-minute application)

How to use

Use 1 sachet for short hair and 2 sachets for medium to long hair of Phitofilos Madder Blend. Mix the powder with boiling water until the batter is not too thick. Apply to clean, slightly damp hair. Protect your hands with gloves and your hairline with a coat of oil or cream. Apply to hair, wear a cap, and leave on for 40 to 90 minutes. For maximum results or to speed up the setting time use a hair dryer helmet or warm the head with a hair dryer.
