Laboratoires de Biarritz Laboratories’ Alga Maris line is the result of careful and thorough scientific research in the field of natural sun protection. The innovative formula of these sunscreens combines dual protection provided by a unique active ingredient, Alga-gorria®, combined with a complex of physical mineral filters.
The mineral filter offers excellent protection from UVB, UVA and HEV rays. Red Seaweed (Gelidium Sesquipedale) from which Laboratoires de Biarritz’s exclusive active ingredient Alga-Gorria® is extracted: anti-oxidant, prevents skin damage due to UV exposure and effectively neutralizes free radicals. It likewise prevents glycation by preserving skin elasticity (it reduces by 40% the glycation reaction observed in vitro, which makes collagen fibers more fragile, accelerating signs of aging).

Apply the product to the lips before any exposure to the sun and particularly in extreme conditions (sea and mountains). Alga Maris Sun Balm SPF30 should be renewed frequently and in sufficient quantities. Always follow the basic rules of good and healthy sun exposure.

The consistency of the product may vary according to room temperature; however, the quality remains the same.

– ALGA-GORRIA®: anti-oxidant, prevents skin damage due to UV exposure and effectively neutralizes free radicals. – Mineral filter: broad-spectrum protection (UVA+UVB) thanks to micronized Titanium Dioxide
– Blend of plant waxes (Jojoba, Mimosa and Sunflower): gives comfort and lasting hydration to the skin.
– Coconut oil: provides comfort, elasticity, hydration and protection. The coconut oil penetrates easily and deposits a light fragrant layer on the skin.
– Organic glycerin: humectant, moisturizing (by hygroscopic effect)
